This Centre is accredited by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) to offer Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for registered professional engineers and also engineering consulting firms.

WorldSkills Kenya (WSK) through Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) selected Prof.Eng. Jean Bosco Byiringiro (Ph.D, Reg. Eng.) to champion mechatronics skills both locally and internationally through preparing excellent competitors at Siemens Mechatronics Certification Centre.
This Centre is also accredited by National Industrial Training Authority to offer attachment opportunities for Engineering Students and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to industry technicians and graduate engineers.
